Looks like Windows users are in for another virus treat as a new Trojan virus is out hijacking Facebook accounts, according to Microsoft.

Microsoft spotted this virus named “Trojan:JS/Febipos.A” among users in Brazil, which has the ability to hack into “your Facebook profile to post, like pages and comment without your permission”. The virus is said to enter the system as a Google Chrome extension or a Firefox add-on. According to TNW, Internet Explorer and Safari users seems to be safe from this threat. It also appears to be targeting Facebook users in Brazil at the moment but, it wouldn’t take long to spread across other countries.

Microsoft recommends Windows users to take few steps to avoid getting infected. You can find the guide here. And try to avoid installing browser add-on’s from third-party websites.
