Tamsin Wilson has one of those voices that grabs you the moment — from the absolute first note — you hear it. With this weapon and gift, she crafts some of the most gorgeous songs I’ve heard this year — these are songs that could bring you to tears of both pain and happiness. As Wilsen, she shines in her powerful storytelling ability — an ability that when joined by the rest of the band’s precise, meticulous musicianship, is hard to best. We brought them to New York City’s Electric Lady Studios where they recorded alternate versions of both “House on a Hill” and “Anahita”. Watch both below and download the recordings for free.
‘Buzzsessions’ is a live session series made by The Wild Honey Pie. With each new episode, we travel with a different band to a different part of New York City and record sometimes-intimate/sometimes-wild versions of two or three songs.
