Wildflowers: 100 day project (Day 10)Lovely Friends,
How is the new year treating you? With family visiting this weekend, our home is still decorated for Christmas. I have a few day trips planned that you might enjoy catching a glimpse of, follow me on Instagram for up to the minute updates.
Project Wildflowers!  The last time I completed a 100 day project I saw so much goodness, almost immediately after starting and this is the case again.  People asking me how it's going, and I find my husband juggling throughout the day. Juggling is a sign that my motor skills need refining, depth perception etc...  I'm determined to learn and continue this skill. One that brings a smile and joy into lives.
Have you looked at my list and wondering why this is my list of fourteen?  I will share why I selected each item over the next several weeks.  Starting with a few today.
Today is day ten. Let's see how I'm doing. :)
Create a craft space: I dabble with knitting, sewing, and small season crafts. A full work space isn't necessary, but I would like to gather the yarn sitting in baskets, the painting supplies sitting on a bookshelf, etc...  and create an organized space.
During my research to find a few creative options I discovered The Little Green Bean on Instagram.  Reading her blog and seeing this stunning workspace has helped me refine my end goal.  I have the perfect place in mind, have ordered a few storage items, and hope to have a completed project later this month.

Wildflowers: 100 day project (Day 10)
Learn to needlepoint or cross stitch: My grandparents home was filled with needlepoint artwork. Handmade by generations of women in my family.  I'm lucky to have two pieces in my home, sewn by my great-grandmother. They serve as a strong link to my family. A craft I want to keep alive for another generation.
I'm taking baby steps.  Starting with a Julbocken pattern, next linen, then I will start learning a few stitches needed to needlepoint.

Learn to juggle: In the late 90's my husband received a juggling kit at a holiday party. We have fond memories of a winter night, learning how to juggle.  A skill he picked up in one evening!  Soon after that night the kit found it's home on a bookshelf, a souvenir of fun evening.
Update: after ten days I find myself describing this activity as Luminosity... before there was an app(!)
I can now toss the third ball in the air.  My goal is to twenty... this may end up being the hardest item for me to complete on my list of fourteen.

Write a haiku: Thanks to a weekend snowy day, writing a haiku is marked as my first complete.
Haiku: a Japanese poem of seventeen syllables, in three lines of five, seven, and five, traditionally evoking images of the natural world.
So sweet the snow fallsPond ice, sleds and snow angelsPink cheeks warm the soul.
