It’s totally a thigh high view today with these rustic brown thigh-hugging boots. And ladies..I’m loving them!
I believe every woman should have a pair of thigh high boots at least once in their lifetime. Yeah they are sexy. A bit taboo. A little unorthodox. But that’s just what makes them so darn fun. They aren’t a luxury reserved for celebrity hotties…
…They are statement pieces.
And if you are on the shorter side {like me}, they can make you look taller and your legs longer – and WHO doesn’t want that. But if you have thick legs and calves like me… Well, it’s very hard to find a pair of thigh high boots. Besides, it’s not like they make plus size boots. So when I picked up this pair from CiCi’s I was very skeptical and downright nervous. But I took the chance because I really wanted them…
…And i feel in love with them after the first one zipped over my big calf.

They came in 2 shades: This rustic brown and also camel. I went with the rustic brown because I figured I could pair it with way more things. They have a chunky 2 1/2 inch heel and an extended tongue. They also zip from the ankle to the thigh which is makes it super easy to put them on and take them off.
I had no issues with zipping up or putting these thigh high boots on. Thigh Hi! Hi! Hooray! They are officially thick-calf-girl approved. And! Can I mention how comfy they are? I can walk and dance in these thigh high boots for hours – no seriously.
Let’s talk price.
I paid $22 for these thigh high boots including shipping. Not bad, right? I wouldn’t mind getting another pair in the camel color. But I’ll stick to one pair for now. It’s not often that I get a chance to pull off a pair of thigh high boots day-to-day.
This brings me to how I paired it in this OOTD {Outfit of the Day}…
I decided to go with a pink, fairy/ballerina skirt by Vera Wang that I grabbed on sale from kohls. Then I simply added a denim vest and a plain, white ribbed t-shirt. I love the contrast of the rugged, thigh high boots with the flirty, girly pink skirt. It adds so much personality to the whole look.
