It doesn't matter what your hair type is, doing a deep condition weekly is essential to the health and growth of your hair. So if your hair is straight, wavy, curly, relaxed, or natural you should continue reading. You and your hair will thank me later!
Things You'll Need:
The best way to deep condition is to apply a generous amount of conditioner and leave it in for 15-30 minutes then wash it out. I don't know about you, but I don't have time to do that on a weekly basis. So, I have a faster method that yields the same result.
When I get in shower, the absolute first thing I do is wash my hair. After I lather, rinse, and repeat, I apply a deep conditioner all over. Then I secure all of my hair under a processing cap. Lastly, I wrap my head under my Turbie Twist. The reason I do this last part is because it causes my head to radiate more heat than it normally would. The heat helps the conditioner really penetrate the follicles.
After I am done with the remainder of my shower business, I wash out the conditioner. The end result is significantly softer and more manageable hair. Styling is a breeze.
Deep Conditioners To Try:
For Relaxed/Natural
This is one of my favorites. It detangles while really moisturizing your scalp. It is perfect because it comes in a singular package so you use just the right amount every time. This deep conditioner is also easy to bring to the hair salon when you get it done!
For Straight/Wavy/Curly
This hair mask really penetrates without leaving hair with a build up. If you have hair that is prone to getting greasy, this is the deep conditioner to try. You will be left with silky touchable strands.
For All Hair Types
This is my go to! I recently colored my hair so I need all the moisture I can get. It has a rich thick texture that gives you an intense boost of moisture. This deep conditioner is great for all hair types. If you have hair this is heat damaged, colored, or simply prone to being on the drier side this s the deep conditioner for you!
