Why Things Don’t Change

Hershel was curious how much his dental practice had changed over ten years. So he asked Linda, his office manager, to go “back in time” to Microsoft Word ’97 and pull out notes recorded during a team meeting in May 2003.

When he looked at the document, Hershel noticed it contained a number of goals for the dental practice: handle team lateness, handle bad paying insurances, handle broken appointments, handle lost lab cases, and get the new version of Dentrix set up.

Out of all of these goals, only one out of five was checked off after ten years.

Are you sick and tired of trying to handle these reoccurring problems with zero success? Do you feel like you are still stuck on the dental treadmill that never switches off like Hershel and his team felt?

It may surprise you how simple the reason is behind why things don’t change; it is because there is a fundamental lack of integrity within your practice.

Without integrity, you lose your peace of mind, a harmonious environment and most importantly, you lose your freedom. Integrity is a concept that means there is a level of consistency maintained between your words and actions. Integrity can exist within many spheres: between yourself and between your team and between your patients. When you make agreements and carry them out, then integrity is established.

It’s simple, but in the hustle and bustle of daily life within your dental practice, it may seem hard to establish integrity. I’m here to tell you that it is possible. At NextLevel Practice we experience freedom through personal integrity, and we are helping dental practices all over the globe do the same.

Learn how to implement a system of integrity and management by agreement that will ensure better results and more freedom for you, your team and your patients. Join us at the Proactive Practice in Chicago, IL from May 31 – June 2, 2013. Call our team at 212-388-1712 to register today!
