Why My Father Needs a Hug…

Posted on the 19 June 2015 by Configcrazy @configcrazy

Born into a family who could hardly manage to have a living, a boy was sent to live with his grandparents. Being the eldest son of the 7 siblings and also of the entire KUTUMBA, he was loved and cared by his Grandmother the most. His grandfather being an alcoholic would abuse his wyf and grandchild. It was his Grandmother who nurtured and imbibed great values of love, care, discipline and all the good principles of life.

He was not at all loved by his own mother, the reason unknown. At a very young age, he learnt that he had to bring the change to get a better living for his family and others. He came to live with his parents after the sad demise of his Grandmother and was badly shaken of her loss.
During 1960s, it was difficult to learn and earn in a village where even the street lights had not reached. He worked in the farm along with his father in the wee hours before going to school. After returning, he studied under low flames of chimni (oil lamp) and street light far from his home. He walked to and fro to attend school few kilometers away.

He wished to bring the change and it was his father who sold off his ring to send his son to Mumbai. His father imbibed the quality of truth, hard work and dedication in him. He believes in The 4 ' Ds '- Dedication, Devotion, Discipline and Determination.
Life in Mumbai was not easy then. He struggled by working in hotels, taking shorthands at work place, etc. With his hard work and zest to change the standard of living of his entire KUTUMBA, he proved that he is a MAN OF HIS WORDS. He managed to build a 2 storeyed bungalow, get his siblings and other cousins married, fulfill his late uncle's wish of purchasing a 3 BHK flat for them, paying hospital expenses for many of his relatives and friends. He did get respect then but now everyone has forgotten all his good deeds and how he helped them to survive in their bad times.

He believes 'Truth always Triumphs' and if not now but surely it will. He never thinks twice before helping anyone. He highly believes in giving and knows that God will shower his blessings in some disguise to his dear ones. Proud to have such a great person in my life. My father, my first prince...
