Why I'm Glad Thanksgiving Isn't at My House

By Parentingsmh @parentingsmh
A few weeks ago, my MIL asked me and the hubs if we wanted to host Thanksgiving dinner at our house.  At first, we thought nothing of it, and said, "sure, why not?"

Monday I was in my office getting ready to schedule a meeting,  and looked over at my desk calendar, when it dawned on me that Thanksgiving was, NEXT WEEK.

When did that happen?  Where was I? What on earth have I been doing with my time?

Thankfully, just before my head exploded with my first aneurysm, I remembered we changed plans, and it was going to be at my MIL's instead. See I bet you all are thinking I was afraid of all the cooking that had to be done.   Nope. To me, the cooking is the easy part.   What terrified me, was the decorating of it all.  I mean, there would have to be gourdes, pumpkins, horns of plenty, candles, tablecloths, seating arrangements,  arrgh!   Just thinking about it is giving me a headache.   So for all of you out there who are hosting, my prayers are with you, really, I mean that, and to show it, here's a little inspiration to help you on your way.  Good luck and God speed!

Enjoy these table settings.

May be next week we can share our actual tables, hmm.  That may be pretty cool.  Anyone interested?
