Who Knew Eating After 7 Would Be a Good Thing!

By Gisellstylist @sexy_scissors

Hey hey all, i’m back and better for an update! Thank you for the positive messages about my journey, they were all so sweet. A few of you have told me I have inspired you to start your own journey, and I am so happy for all of you!

If you are new here, i’ve read Always Eat After 7PM: The Revolutionary Rule-Breaking Diet That Let’s You Enjoy Huge Dinners, Deserts, and Indulgent Snacks- While Burning Fat Overnight by Joel Marion is now available to purchase.

I started this journey with a few goals in mind. The differences between my past goals and my new goals are that they are realistic. I walked into this journey with an open mind and I have been really comfortable trying new things! This is all new for me and I am excited that it is all going sooo well.

This time around, my favorite excerpt is: “A research paper published in Sports Medicine in 2014 showed that people who eat the majority of their carbs at dinner actually sleep better. Carb-induced, quality sleep decreases cortisol (a fat storing hormone) and ramps up the production of your sleep hormones, serotonin and melatonin. Restorative sleep increases fat-burning hormones- the main one being growth hormone- overnight.”

The three goals I set for myself were to feel good, to not limit myself, and to practice self-discipline. This book not only tells you when to eat, how to eat, and what to eat, but they also suggest protein powders of all kinds to benefit you in many different ways. I started with the plant and the collagen protein powders, along with the other changes i’ve mentioned in my previous posts, and I feel so good and I noticed a slight difference in the way my clothes fit!

In regards to recipes, I am a sucker for coconut! My favorite recipe from the book was the Coconut Panna Cotta! Oh my goodness, it was delicious and the recipe was super easy to follow! Another easy recipes was the Chocolate Buttons! Myself, husband, and kids really enjoyed it mmmmmmmm!

Although i’ve had a few mess ups here and there, I stick to the suggested diet, the portions, and the recipes. The recipes are really easy to follow as the instructions are super clear, which I really appreciate because I dread recipes that are difficult to figure out, measure, and are complex to manage.

I think this program is one I will stick to for the long run and I anticipate feeling better about myself overall as well as  disciplining myself to stay on track. I love the easy to follow meal planning, food lists, and recipe ideas!

I will be back for a last and final update soon! Bye guys!
