Nicolas Schuybroek Architects is the firm behind this loft located in Brussels and originally used as a carpenters’ workshop. A large steel framed window covers the whole façade and allows light to flood the space. Also, the choice of opting for clean lines, white furniture combined with marble details and concrete polished floors helps to enlighten the ground floor that, otherwise, could turn out quite dark. I love the whiteness of this loft, used as both a device to capture light and as neutral background to vintage pieces and contemporary art.Nicolas Schuybroe was considered by Architectural Digest in the 2013 Collector Issue as one of the 100 best interior designers.
