The dress code for A Midsummer Mingle was summer whites. I was personally excited to get a new white summer dress because I've been feeling the itch to get out of the Mexican mumus I've been sporting for the last year or so. Too many mumus = not remembering you have a waistline = plummeting self esteem. I didn't have too much time to look for a dress so I began at what has become my go-to source: ASOS. ASOS has saved me on too many occasions that I rarely look elsewhere anymore. It's especially helpful if you're not near great shopping like me. There is no excuse for not having a great shipping resources anymore!
They have fantastic filter options so all I did was plug in white and cream dresses and I was presented with so many great options. I ended up purchasing all of these dresses with the intent that I could easily return all of them. AND, I have their express shipping option so everything (technically!) gets to me in 2 days from England. I'm not even being paid to talk about this I'm just so relieved to have it in my life I must share it with you. Why doesn't every company have great shipping options? When they don't I stop buying from them. Yes, I'm a part of the entitled generation.
I ended up going with option #1. Turns out it's a Danish label (surprise!), It's so soft and light and though it still has a dropped waistline, it's so feminine that I've been wearing it every day.
I thought you might be interested in some summer white options too and the good news is that a few of them are on sale!
