White Gold Nails

I love a bargain. Especially when it comes to white nail polishes, I go through them at a ridiculous rate and have yet to find my perfect white shade. It’s my white whale, there’s nothing nicer than a clean set of perfect white nails… swoon.  The white I’m featuring today is from PS Beauty (Penney’s own beauty range) set me back a whopping €1.50 and to be fair is a pretty alright polish for that price tag! The texture a bit on the gloopy side though so be careful how thick the layers you’re applying are or they won’t dry properly.

It took two coats for full coverage, although one or two nails needed a bit extra to even it out due to the dodgy gloopiness… but then again you get what you pay for! It doesn’t have a particularly strong polish smell and comes in a pretty bottle (that’s a complete knock off of the Butter London laquers range) but it looks nice and does the job. For less than €2 you can afford to buy a few and keep them on standby… or am I the only one who does that? The only really bad point I can mention is that the white was increddddiibbbly difficult to tidy up, it just clung to my cuticles and would not budge.

To jazz up an otherwise fairly boring mani I threw on some gold nail studs that I bought from Effect Beauty on eBay for £0.99 (who I highly recommend, excellent customer service!) which I think finished the look off.

Do you like white nails? Any eBay nail art stores that you would recommend??
