We can get a little caught up in sunny, happy pop in the middle of summer — but too much of that is scientifically proven to make your eyes start bleeding with a joy-overdose (it’s true, look it up). Just in time to save us all from candy-colored  summer overload is White Arrows’ newest track, “I Want a Taste”, with it’s dark, broody atmosphere and catchy hooks. It’s the perfect mix of the pop that we love to overindulge in and the darker atmospherics that we need to stay sane. By the time the guitar and percussion explode a couple of minutes in, you are already completely hooked on the sound — it’s anthemic enough to feel at home in an arena, but gritty enough to still keep our attention.
