similar dress / beltWhite is trending hard this spring, and for good reason. It's clean, modern, and quite honestly, everyone has it and can wear it.
Historically I've always steered clear of white unless it was July and I had a "tan." In my mind fair, translucent skin like mine seemed to wash away to a ghostly shade of pale gray when placed next to white.
But recently I had a change of heart and have been wearing this cool shade regularly. For instance I've done this white skater dress with contrasting opaque tights and a studded belt. Just last week I dusted off my ankle length white pants and paired them with ankle boots, a chambray shirt and floral scarf. Mixing white with other cold weather pieces like a lightweight sweater and boots will make it more weather appropriate; especially if you're still feeling the cold (like I am) on this first day of spring. To just dip your toes into the white pool, try a white mani.
In a room full of black, what better way to stand on than in bright white. Get on board because white is right!
