In recent years, Things have been changing dramatically over the internet. The evolution of the internet is growing up so fast. Internet giants like Google, Facebook, etc. change the way of communication and all of them are now part of our daily life. The evolution of Social media defiantly plays the biggest role in the process. But the internet hasn't been stopped changing. After the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, OTT platforms and online video chat platforms are getting the people (users in technical terms) attention and currently leading the race of most used platforms and places on the internet. Online video chat platforms like Omegle tv, YouNow, Emeraldchat, Ome tv, etc. are some of the most used places over the internet during the pandemic. Let's talk about some of the leading players of the internet in 2021.

OTT Platforms

Over-the-top Services have been considered the biggest evolution of the internet which has been changed the internet as well as the traditional and old Television services. OTT platforms are just above Omegle in terms of annual users. As per the data, Over 55% of homes have OTT service connections in the US. The craze of D2H and cable TV networks is now ending. As per stats, Netflix alone has over 180M active subscribers and stands at the top of the list of best OTT platforms follow by Disney plus(with star media) with 90M active subscribers and Amazon prime at third. OTT platforms are more and more users and it's growing so fast. No surprise if OTT platforms get the complete place of D2H and cable TV networks.
