A year ago I published an article where Filipinos could buy Korean beauty products locally, and since then it is one of the most viewed articles in this blog. But it's not only Filipinos who are interested in buying k-beauty products, almost anywhere in the world does now, so I also wrote where people from the UK and US could buy it. And now, I am doing this as a series starting with where to buy Korean beauty products in Singapore! After a few research here are what I find: there are many online stores and some of them also ship to the Philippines. But they also have physical stores.
1. STYLE KOREAN - This one is my favorite K-beauty shop because they have a vast range of brands and products. Seriously, if there's a k-beauty product you couldn't find, there's a HUGE chance you'll find it in here. The best part is they ship worldwide, including Singapore and other parts of Southeast Asia, and they offer free shipping.
- My other favorite Korean beauty online store, and the one that has been feeding my k-beauty addiction for around 3 years now. They sell legit products at the lowest possible prices! But unlike most stores in this list, Althea has their own namesake beauty brand that are liked by many people. Probably because they have the best team that listens to their customers. They also offer free shipping but they mostly ship to Southeast Asia including Singapore.
3. WISHTREND - I love this company's motto "We are believing that as long as you 'WISH' to be beautiful, you will be beautiful." The best part, they provide many cruelty-free and vegan-friendly products including their namesake brand, By Wishtrend. They ship worldwide, including Singapore, and offers free shipping on orders above $69 straight from South Korea.
4. SOKO GLAM - Charlotte Cho created Soko Glam in 2012 with the help of her co-founder and husband Dave in order to help Western customers discover Korean cosmetics, beauty trends, and skincare regimens. She scours the South Korean market, looking for only the best and most popular products to bring to the US, personally testing and reviewing every single item that crosses her path. Soko Glam ships to Australia, Canada, France, India, Ireland, Italy, New Zealand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Norway, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the UK.
5. YES STYLE - This is one of the oldest online shops I know that does not only sell Korean beauty products, but they also sell clothes, shoes, and accessories that are very trendy in Korea. They ship worldwide, especially in the US and UK. I once bought a pair of boots in here.
6. STYLE NANDA - Just like Yes Style above, this shop is also a popular online clothing shop but they also sell good K-beauty products that are exclusively from 3CE, which is a brand that does not only have cute packaging but also great quality products with makeup that has a wide range of shades. And last May 2018, L'Oreal bought StyleNanda.
7. BEAUTY TAP - Formerly know as "W2Beauty" and founded by Alice, a very lovely lady but different people run this company now. This is actually the online Korean beauty shop where I bought my first products in 2015. Beauty Tap offers over 10,000 Korean Beauty products. If you couldn't find K-beauty products in other places, you'll surely find it in here. They offer free shipping worldwide straight from South Korea!
8. CULT BEAUTY - This is a UK-based online shop that offers free shipping worldwide. They have brands like Charlotte Tilbury, Pixi, Lime Crime, Huda, Anastasia Beverly Hills, and more, but they also sell Korean beauty brands such as Innisfree, CosRx and more! And don't be intimidated by the prices because it includes the UK and EU tax, but if you live outside of those countries it will be deducted before you checkout.
PHYSICAL BEAUTY RETAILERS IN SINGAPORE
1. SEPHORA - If you're a beauty junkie, going to Sephora when you're in Singapore is a must! Although they are also available online, it's much nicer to visit the physical store so you can try the samples yourself, or even get samples before purchasing them. They have a vast selection of brands from western and of course Asian notable Korean brands like 3CE, Dr. Jart+, Moonshot, and CAOLION, as well as LANEIGE and Mamonde, etc!
2. SASA - This is a cosmetic specialty store where you can be sure to buy Korean skincare products at affordable prices, although the Korean brands available are a little limited which include Soo Beaute, Dr. G, Mediheal, and Chosungah22.
3. WATSONS - This is a drugstore with an amazing selection of beauty products. Although their Korean skincare selection is much smaller in comparison to online stores, they do carry cult brands such as COSRX, JAYJUN, Mediheal, and SNP, which currently do not have their own retail stores in Singapore.
4. GUARDIAN - If you want to buy Korean skincare products from brands like Aprilskin and Medicube, you definitely have to pay a visit to your nearest Guardian store in Singapore because these two brands are sold exclusively in Guardian!
