We picked up an interesting infographic about the future of internet users from internetserviceproviders.org.
The growth of internet usage has been phenomenal in the last six or so years with both desktop and mobile access increasing. However, it’s in mobile that the real growth is occurring, as the infographic shows.
This is unsurprising as more and more people are buying smartphones. Where the infographic gets interesting is in the area of wearable devices that give you access to the internet.
The advent of Google Glass, the rumoured introduction of Apple’s iWatch and other wrist-adorning, internet accessing devices, all are going to lead to a further boom in mobile internet access numbers.
