“Who is Betty Who?” is a now defunct question after the Australian-born pop singer’s “Somebody Loves You” from her debut EP, The Movement, went mega viral. Then, right around Valentine’s Day this year, she released her second EP, Slow Dancing, and is just now reaching the tail end of her extensive U.S. tour. Word is out about Betty Who, and Slow Dancing is sure to keep up the momentum with more vibrant 80s-styled pop, this time around with a bit more R&B influence. The five-track EP’s lead single, “Heartbreak Dream”, sounds a lot like another smash with massive measures of dance synths and Who’s infectious charm. In a recent interview she stated, “I want to make music to spin to, music for people to dance in the shower.” I think it’s safe to say: objective achieved, Miss Who!
