What Your Bling Can Tell You...

We all get stuck designing. Its kind of like writer's block with a third dimension.  And most designers can tell you that designing for yourself is harder than any client.  Having a blog has been the best thing ever. You have all been so helpful with your comments.  Its like having a design friend I can call at any hour with a crazy question.  I hope that I have been able to offer some inspiration in return.

Well, I am currently stuck on my bedroom. I have so many ideas.  Enter the bling.  While cleaning my bedroom I had an epiphany. The stuff I wore all the time had all the answers... I really was loving the coral, sea green, lavender and yellow combo all while grounded with white and a little gold sparkle. Could it be that simple?
I want you to do an experiment for me.  Put what accessories you wear frequently together. Could it translate into a room that would make you happy? I'm sure this has been done in a Cosmo Quiz somewhere, but indulge me.  So this is what my bedroom will look like...
Lots of vintage. Lots of white with pops of color and sparkle.  Fretwork and natural textures.
