TEDx Sydney Presentation

TEDx Sydney was held recently and whilst I didn’t get the opportunity to head up to Sydney for the occasion, I’ve been eagerly awaiting the videos.

There’s some awesome talks, at least I can speak for the ones I have checked out already. But one that grabbed my immediate attention, largely due to the title was ‘What web entrepreneurs can learn from rock stars’.

The presenter Rebekah Campbell has spent a career in music management having developed a number of key Australian artists, including a few faves including the awesome Lisa Mitchell. She has now moved from music to a start-up called Posse.com and she reflects on its initial failing and how she went back and adapted the lessons of her career in music and adapted it to her start-up.

So what did she learn from music, what can web entrepreneurs learn from rock stars?

It’s only five minutes, check it out for yourself.

Check out the other videos from TEDx Sydney.
