Everything Obama touches turns into turd.
Pundits will tell us Thursday's historic Brexit referendum in which a majority (52%) voted in favor of the United Kingdom leaving the European Union (EU), was due to the invasion of Muslim migrants or the EU's burdensome bureaucracy or the unelected European Parliament's proposal to impose an EU tax and a tax ID for every European.
But the polling data shows a distinct point in time when the "leave EU" sentiments began an upswing . That point is April 22, 2016 , as shown in the below.
Obama and Mooch arrived in London on April 22 for a 3-day visit. The publishing of his op/ed the next day made clear the purpose of Obama's visit.
On April 23, 2016, The Telegraph published Obama's op/ed , " Barack Obama: As your friend, let me say that the EU makes Britain even greater ," in which he told the Brits they must vote "no" in their upcoming Brexit referendum. Talking out of both sides of his mouth as usual, Obama first pretends to respect the British people - "the question of whether or not the UK remains a part of the EU is a matter for British voters to decide for yourselves" - but in his next breath, proceeds to tell them they must stay in the EU:
"the US and the world need your outsized influence to continue - including within Europe [...] the US and the world need your outsized influence to continue - including within Europe [....] And in today's world, even as we all cherish our sovereignty, the nations who wield their influence most effectively are the nations that do it through the collective action that today's challenges demand [.....] And the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership with the EU will advance our values and our interests [....] Now is a time for friends and allies to stick together. Together, the United States, the United Kingdom, and the European Union [....]"
Please pray that, with his endorsement of Hillary, Obama's King Turd touch will have the same effect on November 8.
