In a couple of weeks I'm escaping this endlessly gray weather with a quick jaunt to Florida for some serious beach time. Sun, sand and salt water is my idea of the dream life...with wifi of course! There is nothing relaxing about packing for a trip so I try to keep it as simple as possible with a stack of J.Crew tees, simple jewelry and dresses that can work just as well as cover ups. Madewell has a couple of perfect options like their Paddleboard Cover-Up and the midi-length Sleeveless Tee dress. For dinner, Issa's nautical inspired dress travels easily and looks great with lightweight (IE suitcase friendly) flats.
A large, canvas tote pulls double duty as both a beach bag and easy carry-on! I'm also weirdly excited to wrap Joe's over sized scarf around me on the plane. (Totally off topic but why are planes always so freezing?) It looks so cozy and the color is absolutely perfect for spring.
Sometimes I think bandeau bikinis leave a little too much hanging out so I love that Zinke's version has more of a long line top and a higher waisted brief. I'm pairing it with a boho headband and the latest fashion collaboration, Mara Hoffman x Havaianas. They teamed up to put her wild prints on their iconic flip flops.
