Mother's Day will be very different this year. Many will not be able spend it with their mothers. If you are able to see your mom, it will have to be at a safe distance. So, a huge departure from past celebrations. Here are a few ideas to make her day special.
Flowers
This is always an appreciated gift. You can never go wrong with flowers. They're a classic. It will instantly brighten your mom's day and continue to do so for a week or so!
Plant
Looking to take it one step further? Get your mom a plant! When well cared for, it is a long lasting gift. Be sure to pick one that's relatively low maintenance. The last thing you want to do is give a gift that requires a ton of work.
Care Package
You could order a care package or you could go the creative route and make your own. This way your gift is curated to your mom's interests. I would recommend going the latter route.
Kitchen Gadget & Cookbook
Not all moms enjoy being in the kitchen (I have one that's proof of that). If your mother likes being in the kitchen though, try getting her a new gadget to play with. Get her a cookbook to go along with it.
Workout Subscription
My mom might not live in the kitchen, but she does love fitness. If your mom is the same way, treat her to a fitness subscription for a few months. Since we're working out at home, it will definitely go a long way.
Post Dated Gift
Treat your mom to a facial, manicure/pedicure, or hair appointment. This way she has something to look forward to whenever these are days inside are all over.
