Gun grabber Shannon Watts loves to promote stories of gun violence and gun death statistics on her twitter feed.

What she DOESN’T promote is the stories of where the Second Amendment is used for protection and self-defense. As in the case of this New Yorker:
The New York Post reports than an off-duty NYPD cop fatally shot a man, who was armed with a pellet gun, who tried to rob him during a car sale gone wrong. Officer Mehbubur Rehaman met up with two men at 10:30 p.m. to purchase a white BMW that had been posted on Craigslist, sources said.
One of the men, identified as Alain Mathieu, 39, whipped out a pellet gun and the police officer pulled out his weapon and fired off seven rounds, striking Mathieu twice in the torso, the sources said. The other suspect fled in the car that the cop was supposed to buy.
Mathieu was taken to Jamaica Hospital, where he died. The cop, who works for the anti-terrorism unit, was treated at North Shore Hospital for tinnitus and released.
Score one for the Second Amendment!
