Microsoft will discontinue support for Windows XP on April 8, 2014, meaning all upgrades, technical support, and security updates will no longer become available.
As XP approaches its end of life, there are a few key reasons why upgrading is so important:
• Without security updates, Windows XP will no longer be compliant with HIPAA, PCI, and other security best practices.
• Windows XP will also be more open to viruses and other malware as support ceases.
• No more support leaves your system vulnerable to technical issues, increasing productivity and revenue losses.
