What's Up With You?

By Jessicavenoy @lovelyjesscuh
Guys, I have a confession to make:
I miss blogging.
It's been nice being out and about doing things all the time. But I miss coming back and sharing it all with you wonderful people. I never realized how beneficial the reflection part of blogging was for me.
There are two major changes that are happening in my life very soon. I'm hoping that once I get these under control that I will be able to schedule blogging back into my life more consistently :)
The first thing:
I'm moving! In 2 weeks I will be living in a new apartment that is 10 minutes away from Adam, my friends & my family! Eeek! Here's to NOT having to spend 1/4 of my day in the car driving from my apartment to meet up with my loved ones. I'm so excited that I'll be able to cook dinner with friends, workout with friends, and just do more spur of the moment things with friends since I'll be right there with them. Oh the little things...
Expect lots of posts giving you tours of my new place :)
And the second thing:
I'm starting grad school in January...yep! I'm going back for my MAT in Elementary Education, and I am ecstatic. I've had the idea of becoming a teacher in my head since I was in high school, but just never wanted to do it for some reason. Every time I've tried to move on to another career path, my heart would always go back to teaching elementary school. Then I started blogging and a lot of the blogs that I read are written by teachers...and they are just such passionate people!
I'm still working through studying for my certified personal trainer exam, but my heart isn't in it like I'd hoped. I realized that health & fitness is a passion of mine, but learning the science & technicalities of it isn't up my ally. Since I already paid for the course, I'm planning on finishing studying & taking the exam in December. Maybe I'll teach a few group exercise classes during the summers when I'm not teaching...time will tell.
So I start the education program in January 2013 and will finish in May 2014. Here's to making it through grad school!
Funny how life changes in a snap. I've learned not to hold onto things so tightly, because they can flee at any given moment. I've learned to appreciate every moment for what it is rather than what I want it to be. I've learned to have less, do more, be more.

If you like that little phrase, then you're gonna wanna come back by tomorrow and see what's in store for you :) I promise it'll make up for the lack of pictures in today's post!lovelylittlethingsblog.com
