What's On My iPhone?

By Hollysbeautybox @hollysbeautybox
I'm a converted iPhone addict. I was always really into Samsung's but after hearing from you lot that iphones have a tonne more apps available for bloggers, I decided to give it a whirl and my life as a blogger and a person in general is so much simpler!
What's On My iPhone?
So what's on my iPhone?
Obvs, I have all of the usual social media apps like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Tumblr and Snapchat. That might sound a weeeee bit excessive but I need them for promoting this here little blog. (I might also slightly stalk celebs (mainly the PLL cast. Just sayin'.)  and spending way too many hours on pinterest browsing hairstyles.)
Aside from the obvious stuff, I also have a bunch of other cool apps.
Headspace
I get stressed out easily (If you follow me on Twitter, you will know this all too well Lolz!), so I like to take some time to myself each day and listen to my "Headspace" app. I often find it difficult to fall asleep at night because night time is obviously the time that we decide to try and resolve the world's ails. (I know it's not just me?) so I like to listen to this to relax me before bed and then sometimes if I'm feeling tense in the morning, I might listen to it again.  Each session lasts about 15 minutes and there are some free ones to listen too as well :)
Depop & Ebay
About three times a year I go through my wardrobe and make three piles - one for keeping, one for donating and one for selling. I buy a lot of clothes and am fortunate to be sent a lot of items too. I always like to keep the things I am sent but like to sell or donate the items I bought myself.  I use Depop & Ebay for both selling and buying both fashion and beauty items. (again, I often have beauty duplicates that I've bought and ended up being sent them by a brand).
Blogger, Typorama & Buffer
Blogger is the platform I use for writing this here blog so having it on my phone is handy for days when I have a blog post idea but am nowhere near a computer. I love spontaneous blog posts and this app is ideal for that. It's also really handy for those days when you're in the middle of doing the shopping and someone messages you to let you know there's a spelling mistake in the title of your brand new shiny blog post. *Facepalm*.
Typorama allows me to make graphics for my blog, instagram, twitter and other social media which is sooo handy. If you're a blogger and you don't have this then you neeeeeeed it. Pay the £2.99 or whatever it is to get rid of the watermark and it's bleeding brilliant. It comes with thousands of themes and allows you to create images of certain sizes. You can even edit images in your phone already and has amazing text overlay styles too.
Buffer (when I wrote that there, i spelled it 'bugger' hahaha sorry) - Anyways, BUFFER is a social media scheduling platform that has literally transformed my social media game. I was forever typing up promotional tweets that I wasn't really writing normal statusses about how my cats ate my notebook and that's just not cool. THE WORLD NEEDS TO KNOW THAT MY CATS ATE MY NOTEBOOK! Soz.
Youtube & Spotify
Youtube is where I turn for reassurance videos, beauty videos, inspiring stories, tv shows, my favorite vloggers and even some hair tutorials. I watch youtube a lot and now that I have the app, I can watch it anytime I want.
As for Spotify. Music is legit everything to me. A different song can change my mood in an instant and not being able to listen to my fave music each day would make my day a much longer one. I mainly listen to 90's throwback tunes. (shaggy - It wasn't me. Sean Da Paul and Blu Cantrell. You know the drill). I would really recommend the spotify app actually. I have the free version and while I can see that the paid version would be more ideal (it allows you to skip tracks and gets rid of the adverts), I don't really mind the ads for the amount that there are.
My Fitness Pal & The Khloe Kardashian App
As I mentioned in my previous blog post, I am working on being healthier and fitter. I have had My Fitness Pal on my radar for a few years but if I'm honest, I just enjoyed looking through the success stories and getting inspiration from them. Now, I use it for recipes, exercise tips and troubleshooting. I don't really post on the forum but the app itself is amazing. (And free!)
The Khloe Kardashian app features everything from fashion to diet and fitness. Khloe is my favorite Kardashian because I can relate to her in a lot of ways. Her app costs £2.29 each month and I've only been subscribed for 1 month. I'm not overwhelmed by it right now because it's pretty new and there's not that much content on it. It looks like it's being developed and added to constantly though so I hope that next month there will be more content for it's subscribers. I love the fitness and recipe's she has on there and I also love the mini snippets about her and her family too. Not sure if I will continue this subscription or not if I'm honest.
I think I'm all done!
I love nosying around other people's devices so let me know if there are any apps I should download or share your 'what's on my phone?' posts below so I can stalk your blog. Lolz.
