Sometimes I look at this little girl, and I am blown away by this smile. Not just because when she smiles, I smile...but everything that is behind that smile. Her little heart and soul holds this self confidence that I sometimes lack.
I didn't want to write that, but it's true. It happens.
But, as a parent, all I want to do is make sure that her self confidence and drive never dies, and when and if it ever dims, I can help guide her as she gains it back.
I heard once that self confidence is conquering fears, and right now, she is fearless.
