What MATTers : 2016 Steeler Pro Bowl Selections

By Kipper @pghsportsforum
The Pittsburgh Steelers had 3 players named to the 2016 Pro Bowl - QB Ben Roethlisberger, WR Antonio Brown, OG David DeCastro.
Discussion points:
-What do you make of the selections?
-Are there any players you thought should have been chosen but were not?
-Surprising no defensive players were selected from Pittsburgh?
My take:
-Antonio Brown was an obvious selection. Arguably the top WR in the NFL in 2015, it was inevitable Brown was going. To go beyond the Pro Bowl, Brown is an All-Pro player.
-Ben makes sense. His resurgence is most definitely deserving of the honor, despite not playing in every game this season. Ben's performance has led him to be one of the top NFL QBs in 2015.
-I don't have an opinion on DeCastro. Honestly I do not pay attention to offensive line stats or watch him closely during games. Hats off to him on the honor.
