Our apartment is heated by a boiler system and radiators. Lately, I have been hearing loud banging noises coming through our radiators but had no idea what it was until today. I went down to the laundry room and discovered that the boiler system was doing some weird stuff. The noise, as you can hear in the video is VERY LOUD, so much so that it resonates throughout the whole building. Also, as you can see, the pressure gage jumps from 5 or 10 to almost 20. I have no idea what this means or if something dangerous is going on. The last thing we need is for this boiler system to explode or something. Does anyone have any idea what is going on? Please comment if you know what the issue is here. I have contacted my landlord about it but it is very difficult to explain what is going on since I have no clue about any of this stuff. I’d like to be able to let him know exactly what is happening specifically. Your help is much appreciate. Serious replies only please. Useless comments will be deleted. Thanks!!
