necklace {Lulu Frost} Spending quality time with Mom on Mother's Day was the ultimate R&R after a rather tumultuous roller coaster of a week. Even though it was THE day to shower Mom with gifts, she came over with a cornucopia of healthy snacks and fresh produce. After brunching on fresh crab benedict and sorta healthy chopped salad at The Ivy (the restaurant with the prettiest and most feminine floral ambiance), we spent the afternoon at The Getty Villa admiring art, enjoying the cool Malibu breeze, and goofing off with a selfie session. I cherish our mother-daughter time as our moments are always filled with endless chatter and laughter. For my Mother's Day outfit, I picked a soft color palette. I gravitated towards my white XOXO dress as the intricate details-from the pleating to the sheer panel make for a look that's anything but simple. XOXO is known for designing feminine, sexy, and trend conscious pieces that transition well from day to night and this dress is the pretty embodiment of the brand mission as I can see myself wearing it on a multitude of occasions. And at under $100, its affordability and attainability renders it all the more fabulous! I toned down the femininity with a bomber jacket and paired the dress with my favorite silver heels. Subtle accessories complete my day out with Mom!
