What I Wore - Arts District Los Angeles
We were in Downtown Los Angeles last weekendsupporting a friend at the New Film Makers LAso of course it was a perfect time to shoot some outfits in my favorite LA areaThe Arts District LA

I was so excited to style my new poncho and hattwo of my favorite finds from last weeks Austin Tripwhich I will be sharing more about next week!
I found this fabulous hand embroidered poncho atFeathers in Austin.
Trina Turk told me about Feathers  Boutique which is a vintage storewhen I mentioned our destination on Instagram. So you absolutely know ifTrina Turkrecommended it to meit became  a top destination!
I found my new favorite hat at Allen Bootswhich was a top must see recommendation from my darling friendJenn Rose Smith(you can see her fabulous home HERE)
Jen is the Art Director for the fabulousAustin basked blogger and influencerCamille StylesIf you are planning an Austin tripmake sure to check out her site for all the best of Austin!!I was lucky enough to visit Camille's workspacethat I will share in next weeks Austin post.
Allen Boots is definitely something to see! They even have a fantastic hat collection!I could have left with so manybut my 3 suitcasesjust didn't have the extra room!
My favorite part of finding hats at Western Wear storesis that the hats are sized within 1/8 of an inch so you can find the perfect size!I always like mine a tad on the large sizeso I can get two looks from my hats.I either wear them straight on my heador tipped back so that the hat is a perfect face framer.

Back in LA this Sunday we returned to The Arts District LAWe were walking aroundlooking for the perfect wall and lightingwhen we came to an unassuming covered walkwayand decided to take a peek inside.
We didn't even k now at the time we had just stumbled into the amazingHauser and Wirth
Hauser and Wirth is a museum and galleryrepresenting over 60 modern and contemporary artists worldwide. This LA venue is the latest addition to this Swiss owned group.
It is a magnificent propertylocated in what was originally a grain milland has now become my favorite LA destination.

If you are in the area I highly recommend a visit to Hauser and Wirth
Not only do they have fantastic art to be seenbut also an open courtyard,  public garden and an Art Bookstore. As well as Manuela Restaurant

"Sitting within the hidden courtyard of Hauser & Wirth Los Angeles, Manuela is at the center of the thriving Downtown Arts District. A destination for food, art and culture, our distinctive menu is a celebration of the best locally-sourced, seasonal ingredients"

We definitely would have done their brunchif we had found it in time.Instead we stopped for a cocktail to really take in the remarkable space!Manuela is at the top of my return visit list!
