"What I Love About Me" Blog Hop!

By Hollyshaun0528 @TwinglesMom42
Welcome to Week 2 of "What I Love About Me!" hosted by Twins Plus One, Three Times the Fun and Twingle Mommy!
Here's how it works -
Write a post about what you love about yourself this week and then add it to the linky list below. This is intended to be a time and place for each of us to stop criticizing ourselves for a few minutes and actually remind ourselves of the characteristics we are proud to own. So go ahead, look in the mirror, and see yourself through your loved one's eyes. Notice the beauty first. Here's your place to shine!
A few simple guidelines -
  • Please follow the two hostesses. If you are a new follower, please comment so we can follow you too! :)
  • We'd love it if you posted the button and the linky list, but it is not mandatory.
  • Feel free to link to your homepage or your specific "What I Love About Me!" post. We want this to be a fun, relaxing hop so we'll accept all links as long as they are family-friendly. Thanks!
  • The linky will be open all week so feel free to link-up on your own time!

What I Love About Me this week is: I persevere.
Life is not always easy. Sometimes it is. Yesterday was awesome, as many of you know from my post last night. Today, however...let's just say not so much.
My car is in the shop. I have no idea how much it is going to cost yet, but I am hoping that we'll be able to afford it without taking out a personal loan. We only have one car so it absolutely must get fixed. Ugh.
Then our sitter quit. I'll tell you what, I think the best part about being a stay-at-home parent is not having to worry about childcare. It is such a royal pain the you-know-what to find reliable, affordable childcare for three kids. Luckily, I don't need it immediately since I am out of school for the summer, but I do have certain dates this summer that I will need childcare including a full week near the end of this month because I am teaching an academic summer camp.
I know we'll get through it though. We always somehow manage. We've dealt with my husband being unemployed for 8 months, then him having two jobs (one day, one night). We've dealt with even bigger struggles than that as well.
So today, I love that I am not allowing myself to breakdown in the midst of the stress that comes with a family life like mine. No, I am going to stand up and figure it all out like the strong mom I should be.
Now it's your turn! What do you love about you right now? I'm looking forward to reading your blogs!
