What really drives the team of Ms Career Girl? LocalJobNetwork.com invites us for a radio interview so we can tell our story.
As a site dedicated to the careers and lives of young women, Ms. Career Girl often gets asked why sites just for women are important when there are so many great business resources already available.
Tim Muma at LocalJobNetwork.com wondered this very thing and reached out to Jason Batansky, our publisher and business development head, Abbi Gabasa, our managing editor, and myself for answers. In a poignant Community Concepts interview centered on providing support to career women we shared how everyone at Ms. Career Girl strives to impact and inspire by sharing stories from our personal and business lives in order to show other women that they, too, can do anything, be anything, and truly have it all.
As a contributor for Ms. Career Girl, I truly believe in our mission. Women have no bounds. And, in truth, neither men nor women should feel tied to choose between career and family. Jason has been an incredible support in showing that we all need to help each other succeed in life, and his unwavering understanding of this has allowed Ms. Career Girl to be a continued success. Abbi’s personal pursuit for excellence in all areas of her life as she lives as a real Ms. Career Girl is such an inspiration. Having an opportunity to listen to Jason and Abbi and their feelings about the continued relevance of Ms. Career Girl served only to strengthened my conviction in what we do here.

Message from the editor: Thank you again to Tim Muma for inviting us to share our insights on being part of the Ms. Career Girl team. It was a great experience and I am happy that I was able to voice out my appreciation for the continued support from our readers and the amazing efforts of the women writing for us.
This team of women are truly inspiring, and if you are not aware, they are all volunteer writers/mentors who offer their advice to Real Career Girls out there through our website. It is such a wonderful privilege to be able to have an avenue to learn from others people’s experiences, all while being able to share your own insight and encouragement with women who may need the motivation to find balance in their work and life.
If you would like to reach us for an interview as well or are interested in being part of our team of writers and mentors, shoot me an email at [email protected].
