Happy Thanksgiving! I hope each and every one of you (my readers) have an absolutely wonderful day stuffing your face, drinking wine, eating too much dessert and spending it with the ones you love.
I’ll be spending mine with family, watching football, playing games and of course eating way too much food! I must say that mashed potatoes, stuffing and dessert is already calling my name. I’m not a huge fan of turkey but, will indulge today. I must say it’ll be a merry way to spend the afternoon. And of course, the food coma will ensue on my way home…
I’d like to pause and reflect on what I am thankful for. Sometimes, we forget and a holiday like today reminds us to take step back and acknowledge what we are thankful for and why. It also gives us a chance to gives a special shout out here and there, to those that matter most and those few that have made a difference in our lives this past year.
I’m incredibly thankful for having Scott and Smokey in my life. Life is pretty amazing with them and I can’t imagine a day without either one of them! I have some pretty special friends too. I am thankful for each and every single one of you. Each of you are amazing in your own special way. You know who you are, you don’t need a special announcement of your name in this post. Ha! And last but not least, let’s not forget the fam, woohoo! All of you get a super special shout out because you have put up with me for all of these years, ha! I love each and every one of you.
Today I want to acknowledge an amazing friend. We actually became friends roughly a year ago. She’s currently facing a huge hurdle in her life. She’s being challenged in ways one couldn’t imagine. But, she is an amazing woman and she will persevere. And of course, I’ll be there anytime she needs it! Love you my dear. You are rockstar fabulous and don’t you forget it!
Last but, not least I’d like to thank my boss and co-workers! They make every day fun. It’s tough work but, well worth it for the end result. Thank you for making me a part of your team.
