What a pair of posers these two are turning into. And they are also best mates and partners in crime!! If the house goes unnaturally quiet I know to go and have a look at what they are up too. I have had to move one of the dog beds this week as Charley discovered that the wooden radiator cover in the kitchen was most definitely to her liking and has chewed through the paintwork on it. Luckily I caught her just in time and hopefully with a couple of coats of paint you will never know the little devil has been there. My doggy doorstop has been dragged all over the house, but up to now it seems that it's just a plaything and not a meal, although the Monkey's Fist doorstop is looking decidedly unravelled!
Of course little Miss Suky snoozes her way through all the damage and looks on in glee as tellings off are metered out to the little rascal that is doing the worst of it.
Mavis is looking so much better these days, gaining weight slowly and surely. Her milk is all dried up and she is regaining a neat and natty undercarriage. As soon as she is a little heavier she will be off to the vets to be spayed. No more pups for her.
There as also this rather fetching one of her when she was just a couple of months old.
All together now ...... Awwwwww :-)
