Two years after his phone-recorded debut album caught the attention of the world wide web, Brooklyn-via-Scranton singer-songwriter Wharfer has a polished new release on the horizon. Kyle Wall’s (Wharfer) blend of of country and folk is shaped by his deep voice that fully blossoms on his new album, Acadia. Thanks to a variety of new instruments and collaborators, Acadia adds textures and definition to the original, heartwarming charm of Wharfer as he grapples with a series of trying times. “We’ll All Be Racers”, the third single from Acadia, is a hopeful lullaby rooted in genuine dreams. Swelling strums of pedal steel guitar and patient plucks of acoustic guitar create a cozy atmosphere for Wall’s lingering vocals. The pattern of its shifting chords becomes increasingly enrapturing with every listen. Acadia is out June 30th.
