I love the evolution of shoe design over the past decade. Designers have turned the humble shoe into an art form, daring to take it to a place that sometimes I can’t believe my eyes. Over the years I’ve blogged about the amazing designs seen on the street through the lens of the street photographers in the cities of Paris and Milan. The designs are something out of this world, almost architectural and the skill involved in making these shoes are unbelievable. Designers like Manolo Blahnik paved the way for the wearable art of innovative designs of Nicholas Kirkwood, Giuseppe Zanotti, Balenciaga, Prada, Chanel and of course, Monsieur Christian Louboutin.
