Weight Watchers Update

So I’ve been on WW for about a month now and I figured I’d give a little update on how it’s going:

  1. I’ve lost a total of 5.6 lbs. I had one week where I gained about half a pound.
  2. I eat breakfast every day. I eat the same breakfast every day: 6oz nonfat vanilla Greek yogurt, 2T wheat germ, 1/4c dry oatmeal, 1/2c berries (usually thawed frozed raspberries, sometimes fresh strawberries) = 6 points. It’s delish.
  3. I eat a ton of veggies, little to no baked goods, fruit at almost every meal, and organic whenever possible.
  4. I don’t exercise. Right now my schedule is so tight that it’s not an option. I live in the Northeast. It’s winter. When it warms up a bit I plan to start taking some walks before/after dinner and go to the park more, eventually when we are in our own house later this year I’m sure we’ll start using the Wii and we’ll be more active. 
  5. I take a prenatal vitamin and a fish oil supplement everyday. I’m not pregnant yet, but I plan to be this year so I’m just keeping up with that vitamin. As for the fish oil, I used a liquid fish oil supplement with DHA made by Nordic Naturals when I was pregnant (and when we were trying). I could take it straight or mix it with juice - it was lemon flavored and had NO fishy aftertaste.I went “cheap” this time and got the 365 brand capsules. And I have fish burps after. I’ll be investing in the liquid as soon as this bottle is done. 
  6. I haven’t been hungry since I can munch on an apple or banana whenever I want. I keep my portions reasonable. I track everything. 
  7. I really want to be under 200lbs before I get pregnant again. I want to have more energy as I get older, not less. I want to participate in life with Harry, not just be a spectator.
