Weekly Roundup 31st October 2014
Happy Halloween! I decided today to do a pumpkin special today and make sure all of the recipes I picked included pumpkin in some way or another and hopefully you will agree I have come up with quite a good selection. I have detailed all of the recipes below starting at the top left hand corner and working clockwise:
  • The first recipe is a twist on an old favorite from Half Baked Harvest. These Mini Chocolate Pumpkin Seed Candy Peanut Butter Cups are the perfect way to get a good dose of pumpkin seeds that the whole family will love.
  • I don't think a round up of pumpkin recipes would be complete without a bread and this 1 Bowl Pumpkin Bread from Minimalist Baker is not only vegan but also gluten free, so go on fill yourself up with it!
  • I have seen so many vegan cinnamon roll recipes doing the rounds over the last few weeks but I just fell in love with these Pumpkin Cinnamon Rolls with Salted Caramel Glaze from Keepin' It Kind. If you are going to make cinnamon rolls this year then these are the ones to go for.
  • I think that by now you might be aware of the fact that I love granola and so when I saw this beautiful Pumpkin Granola on Cooking Classy I just had to include it.
  • The next recipe is another of my favorite things, soup plus curried soup just is the perfect combination so why not give this Curried Pumpkin Soup from My Darling Vegan a try, it looks amazing.
  • Finally I am finishing up with these lovely little Pumpkin Pie Crumb Bars from My Pretty Bee, not only do they look stunning but I know they will taste just as good!
Ok so my computer or more particularly the internet has decided it is going to play games with me today and so I am hurriedly writing this post to  make sure I get it out today. For that reason the other posts I have for you are a little more limited than normal but there are still some good bits here:
  • I thought I would start by keeping with the pumpkin theme and share this post of Animals Loving Pumpkins Too on One Green Planet. It is just a little something to make you smile!
  • As someone who lives in London I am always looking for good vegan places to eat out so I loved this post on Eating Vegan in London by Coconut & Berries. It has definitely given me a place or two to try!
  • For a thought provoking pose I went for this lovely post on Can Positive Thinking Really Change Your Life? on Our Little Green House.
  • Finally I am finishing up with a really useful post on Transitioning to Veganism on Garden of Vegan that is the perfect read for anyone who wants to try a vegan lifestyle.
