Weekend Winter Looks

Mixing it a bit today and sharing some of my weekend looks. This year has been about living in the moment and doing what feels right, as long as there wasn’t any prior commitment or contract drawn. Haha ... You catch my drift. It is hard to be true to the moment you are in, if you are continuously planning to take outfit pictures and shooting pictures. I decided to let go of continuity and consistency and what-not for the sake of my mental peace and for room to breathe.
Being obligated to blog for the sake of “traffic” wasn’t cutting it for me. I have let go of my own pre-conceived notions of how I need to approach blogging and stopped tried to match fellow blogger's frequency. I started posting once a week here and I am so glad that I did as I have found my joy again, albeit with a lot of fluidity in my social media approach this time around.

Let’s get to the outfits, shall we? They are all comfortable, and layered looks created from pieces I have had in my wardrobe for years. The purpose of all the outfits was to stay warm and be able to eat food, as weekends often revolve around food for us. Most of these outfits have been randomly thrown together as an after-thought. I find it most amusing to see what I come up with when I have no plan in place and limited time to get ready. Short deadlines are the path to creativity, at least in my case.
Quality over quantity + Less is more = Two of the most over used and true phrases in content creation world, after “content is king” of course. These two phrases have been my mottos in all spheres of my life, and of course that also includes my wardrobe choices.
