Hacienda Isabella at a glance is a vast land with lush greens it combines the beauty of nature and fine architecture. It has paved walkways directing one to each unique piece of art. The art forms that I’m referring to are the exceptional design of each space. The tastefully decorated a rooms, rustic pieces of antique displays and the exquisitely wood craved doors; everything beautiful and picture perfect.
The Hacienda is owned by singer Ms. Kuh Ledesma and it was named after her daughter. It is located in secluded yet accessible barangay in Indang, Cavite which is about 3 hours away from south of Metro Manila.
We were welcomed by Mr. Victor Aquino and he graciously toured us within the chattels. He told us that the property was bought 15 years ago. It was a rest house for Ms. Kuh and a coffee plantation, up until Mr. Apa Ongpin had his wedding in the Hacienda a few years back. It was then decided that the property be developed and it was opened to the public. The Hacienda is also a favorite venue for weddings, pre-nuptial photo shots and it is even used as a movie and television shows.
Rooms
Each bed room is unique in terms of interior design and theme unlike most properties that as the same room design. Inspiration was derived from Western and Oriental countries and according to Sir Victor each Ms. Kuh participates in the planning of the room interiors design. Each room also showcases a painting made by Ms. Kuh. The property has 52 rooms and it can accommodate 200 people. The rooms do not have a television unlike the other lodging places. But, with the landscape and ambiance that they offer you don’t need television. Internet connection is only present in selected parts of the property; if one really needs to connect to the worldwide web the connection is strongest at the main house.
The room that spent the night was Aqua 2. It has a King Size Bed and 2 single beds. The toilet and bath was well appointed; a hot shower amenities, a hand washing area and toilet. The linen has a very special touch to it for it looked like a crocheted piece of fabric. The room was spacious and it has the view of the lap swimming pool.
Food
Dining options for guest in the hacienda is personalized because upon reservation the guest can choose the dish that is to be served. The dishes are a combination of Western dishes, Chinese dishes, Filipino favorites and even fusion dishes which was prepared by the Hacienda’s in house kitchen staff. The meals are usually served in the main house but, it may be brought to the poolside upon guest request.
