One of the nicest surprises is not in our yard at all but in our neighbours. When it comes to your view though, what does it matter whose yard a plant is in as long as you can see it?
And in this case, also smell it. 
Perhaps these are crabapples? In any case they are right behind us across the back lane and they are divine. Thanks neighbours!
