Join me on a fun-filled weekend adventure at Greenfield District in Mandaluyong City, where I hung out with my friend and officemate, Chiara May Escabal! We kicked off our evening with a delightful dinner at Greenfield District, indulging in some amazing food and great conversations. The variety of culinary delights at the district ensured we had a feast fit for foodies, with every bite bringing a new burst of flavor and joy. Our dinner was the perfect way to start the night, setting the tone for an evening full of excitement and exploration.
After dinner, we explored the lively night market, immersing ourselves in the vibrant atmosphere and checking out all the unique stalls. From handcrafted goods to trendy fashion finds, the night market was a treasure trove of fascinating items and creative displays. We wandered from stall to stall, captivated by the bustling energy and the array of products on offer. Chiara and I couldn’t resist picking up a few unique items, each with its own story to tell. The lively chatter, the colorful lights, and the smell of street food wafting through the air made the experience truly magical.
Our night took an exciting turn when we headed to Bar Zero, where we were entertained by talented drag queens. Their fabulous performances and lively energy kept us enthralled, turning an already great night into an unforgettable one. The drag queens put on a spectacular show, full of glitz, glamour, and lots of laughs. We cheered, danced, and sang along, completely losing ourselves in the vibrant atmosphere. It was a highlight of our night, leaving us both in high spirits and with memories that we’ll cherish for a long time.
Then we hopped to another videoke bar adjacent to Bar Zero named Chillax Bar & Grill to continue our drinking session. We decided to move to the next bar because we couldn’t have a deeper conversation at Bar Zero due to the loud music. At Chillax, we were able to sing karaoke and grab another bottle of drinks. We had a life conversation until the sun rose, talking about everything under the stars, from our dreams and aspirations to our everyday musings.
As the night turned into morning, we decided to satisfy our breakfast cravings at R & J Bulalohan in Mandaluyong, relishing in delicious Filipino comfort food to fuel us for the day ahead. The hearty dishes were exactly what we needed after a night of fun, providing the perfect end to our weekend adventure. The warmth of the food and the cozy ambiance of the place made it a comforting experience, wrapping up our eventful night in the best way possible.
