Weeds!

By Stephanie
I don't have a gardener because I enjoy pulling weeds. It's hard to explain, but there is something fulfilling about pulling out a weed and knowing that you got all the roots -- Justin Hartley

I used to have some bulb plants growing from this pot. Overtime, the bulbs are gone and this creeper appeared. I am calling it a weed. But since it is growing so wonderfully, I just didn't have the heart to pull it out. Anyone has this plant in the garden?Weeds!

I have also noticed that there are tiny blooms growing from the stolons are spilling and trailing down the pot. The pretty leaves are round, dented and toothed.

After googling, this plant resembles Hydrocotyle leucocephala a.k.a. Brazilian pennywort but still, I am not sure. According to sources I have read so far, H. leucocephala can be an aquarium plant and can live underwater!

The other weed that has grown out from the Clematis Avant-Garde pot looks like a kind of chilly plant. Since I have pruned the clematis vine, I thought of letting it grow as I am curious to know what plant is it.

Below pic shows the whole plant - its leaves and flowers.

Small white flowers appeared first...

 ...and later the fruit...

Weeds!

The fruit which is green and small now. The growth looks stunted or maybe it is growing really slowly.

Anyway, after checking, this plant looks like a bell pepper shrub. If this is the case, then I think it would be difficult for the fruits to flourish well in my lowland tropical garden :-(

Do you recognize these plants?
