I first Met Ben and Sen at one of my favorite weddings a couple of years ago and I was really looking forward to their day. Pembroke Lodge is a great wedding venue for many reasons and once again it didn’t disappoint. Senlika got ready at the Petersham Hotel which is just by the river in Richmond. She was ready really early which gave us a little extra time to get some portraits of her looking amazing. The wedding in the Belvedere was lovely with readings in both English and French. The weather was very much on our side and the champagne flowed during the cocktail hour. The food as always at Pembroke Lodge was fantastic and the friends and family seemed to be loving the day. Ben and Sen visited everyone at the tables which is a lovely thing to do.
This is the first time that I have had not only the bride and groom do a speech together but it was also written to rhyme. Not only that but they only prepared it a couple of days before the wedding! The first dance had been practised for a while but was a surprise for their guests. I just had to make sure I was in the right place for the dip! The dance floor was full all night with the Best Man Olivier on the decks.
