Webinar: How to Pitch Influential Parenting Bloggers

By Frederickjgoodall @goodallcreative

mocha dad logoParenting bloggers have been part of the media landscape for several years now. According to Scarborough Research, 14% of all American mothers blog about parenting or turn to blogs for advice. Dad bloggers are booming, too. After all, men spend an average of $36.26 at the grocery store per trip, according to Nielsen—numbers that make them an attractive consumer market.

I’ve written my blog, Mocha Dad, for over 5 years now. During that time, I’ve worked with some great brands and PR Professionals. However, I have also been on the receiving end of some terrible pitches.

Join me and several other influential mom and dad bloggers to learn how to pitch us; what we’re writing about now; and how you can build a lasting professional relationship with us.  In this 90-minute training session, we will reveal the top trends and topics likely to dominate our editorial calendars. You’ll also discover the latest consumer hot buttons—and how major brands are interacting successfully with parents online so you can do the same.

What You’ll Learn:

  • State of the Parenting Blogs: Hear straight from leading mom and dad bloggers about the incredible growth and influence of this sector—and why this top online demographic must be a part of every media relations program today
  • Current Hot Topics and Trends
  • What Motivates Parenting Bloggers
  • How to Pitch to Them
  • Targeting Essentials
  • How do they want to work with PR pros
  • New rules for crafting irresistible parenting blog pitches—story elements and pegs that resonate and how to use them to generate wide coverage
  • Social media tips: How to use social media like Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and even Google Plus to build relationships with these bloggers—plus how NOT to pitch via social media
  • How the best PR pros have gained the ear—and trust—of key parenting bloggers and how you, too, can build long-term relationships with top online journalists covering the parenting market
