The stone still sparkles, but the hands are more crinkly as each year passes.
This is one of those little regular milestones in life which can so easily pass unnoticed, uncommemorated and unsung.
For someone who has failed to achieve significant marital milestones in the past, these days, each and every one of these annual events is a tiny triumph of bliss.
We can conquer the future, we two.
