If you want to try something original, avoid the Fifa loving crowds, the dirty pubs in town, you like animals, trying new things, to eat & travel, then you better get your tickets for the London Zoo Lates NOW!

It is a zoo, a food fest, a music festival, and most of all, a place to get wild! Indeed, the London Zoo had the great idea of organising late nights for over 18′s every Friday/Saturday of the Summer. This is not just an opportunity for us “grown ups” to get back to childhood, its also a great opportunity to check out the wild cats from Africa, have a beer, dance in a silence disco, play some old school games, get some massive food porn and a lot more!

The evening at the Zoo starts at 6:00PM and stops at 10:00PM. Because some animals go to bed at 9:00PM, getting there early will give you some time to enjoy the entertainment and see all the different sections of the zoo. As soon as you arrive, you will be welcomed by a funny mobile duet doing some weirdly funny jokes in a big homemade TV:

And we started by entering Africa!

Seing so many people with a drink in their hands made us thirsty, so we headed towards the food trucks and bars, and weren’t disappointed ! Food porn everywhere… burgers, hotdogs, mac&cheese, pancakes, thai food, nachos, pizza and much more! So much food its makes you lose your head – Little tip for you, zoo visitors: bring some cash !

Mr. K knows I have a sweet tooth and surprised me with the below treats: Dutch Pancakes topped with a ton of warm Nutella and fresh berries – Yes, he is a keeper

:)
–  what you don’t know is that we had these as a starter haha :p

After all this food we had to get going and headed to the Animal Adventures section of the Zoo -including the Lions, Tigers, and also some smaller animals such as rabbits, pigs, penguins and goats – passing in front of a very talented singer and his guitar

We were so lucky with the weather and instead of taking the bus or tube back home, jumped on a bike and had a 20 min ride home in the sweet summer fresh air.

Have you been there yet? If so let us know in the comments how you liked it !

Otherwise, Hurry up and book your tickets here with TimeOut vouchers if you want to experience the London Zoo Lates this summer – a must try experience in London
