We Are the City Builds on Previous Release with Gorgeous New Album [video]

Canada’s We Are The City have matured over the years. Their debut album, In a Quiet World, consisted of songs written years ago while they were still in high school. Since then, they’ve made a feature length film and recorded a new album, Violent, that explodes with a developed progressive rock sound. We get a taste of this band’s budding advancement with their new video for the song “Baptism”, which uses footage from their upcoming film — high-resolution nature shots and slow-mo shots of the band getting hit in the face with a bunch of sparks. Although I still have no idea what their film is going to be about, this video is incredibly pleasing visually and fits the song really well. Look out for their feature length film and be sure to give their new album Violent a listen.
